As another way to say goodbye to our fifth term friends that were leaving the island for good, Lizzy and Dallas had people over to their house for desserts. Everyone made some super yummy desserts and probably ate their own weight in yummy goodness. All the kids had tons of fun playing together like they always do, and we all enjoyed talking and hanging out together.
What's so funny about these pictures is that a lot of people holding kids aren't even holding their own. It shows how much we really do become a big extended family down here.
So cute, Peter had been trying so hard to get my cute buddy to like him too, and right at the end before the left the island for good, she decided that she was going to love Peter too. He was so excited!
So now the Greers and Durhams, two of our closest friends, are now gone from the island and we miss them like crazy! We miss their cute kids too, they were like our replacement niece and nephews. I've said this before, but the good and bad thing about being down here is that at some point everyone leaves. It's good that they are moving on to the next step in this long process, but we're all sad to lose them on the island. I know that we're going to stay close friends with them always, but Grenada just doesn't feel quite the same with them gone.
