Concord

On our last day before leaving Grenada for the term you'd think we would use that time to spend the day packing, organizing, and getting all our stuff moved over to our new apartment.  Well wrong, instead of doing this we went on a hike to Concord.  It was worth the headache of staying up way late throwing things together and coming back to a mess in our new apartment because we basically just threw everything in.

I've done the Concord hike a few different times, and it's my favorite hike.  It's really pretty and you have a guide that shows you all the local fruit and plants.  So we took a big group, including husbands, and decided this would be a fun activity for the last day on the island.

We are sucking on cocoa beans that you get straight from the pod, that's why we look funny.  They have kind of a citrus flavor and are really good.  As you can tell, Michelle loves them.

It was a fun close to the end of a fun term, and the boys who never get to do much on the island loved doing it and seeing a different part of the island other than the inside of Charter Hall.
