My First Grenada Baptism

A little while ago the branch had its first baptism since we've been here, and I got to go.  It was so neat to see, and I'm so glad that I went.  Peter didn't get to go this time, but he for sure wants to go to next time.

The one that did the baptizing was actually just baptized himself about four months ago.  There were a few talks before, some testimonies after; it was a great night.

As you can see, we do our baptisms right in the ocean behind our church, it's so neat.  You can't tell from these angles, but there is kind of a natural circle of rocks that that they go in to to do the baptism.

A lot of the locals don't know how to swim, so it can be kind of a scary going into the ocean, but they did great.

And there was of course a great sunset that I had to post.
