Halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year, and even got to spend part of the day together.  Our day started out having the SO (Significant Other) midterm social at Grand Anse Beach, where we had a yummy lunch and played in the water.

Later that night I got to go to a party that our friend Kelsey put on, it was held in a room on campus and was a lot of fun.  There were tons of creative costumes because in Grenada there isn't a costume store to just buy something from, but even if there was none of us could afford it, so people came up with some great costumes.  We had great food, a costume contest, and just had fun.

Nicole as Paula Dean, me as a flight attendant, Erin as a 80's jazzersize instructor, Emily as a Grenada learner driver (it's a Grenada thing), Lizzy as a safari person, and Michelle as grapes

Stefani made this shirt using white vinyl, it was so cute.  She's about 7 months pregnant

This costume was hilarious, it's another Grenada thing.  There are always guys carrying machetes wearing giant hats to carry their dreads in, and wearing rain boots with a big heard of goats on leashes.

Then later we got to go to our friend Stefani and Jerod's house to play some games and have more yummy food.  This one Peter took a little break from studying and went with me, and even dressed up.

For some reason Peter decided that he would only dress up if he could have a mustache, that his captain costume wasn't complete without him shaving to have a mustache.  So there it is, he loves having a mustache for some reason, it's kinda funny, but I have to say I'm not a huge fan.

  1. Hahaha. It's funny that Peter only wanted to dress up if he could have a mustache. That sounds like something Paul would say as well. It was a fun day. Glad we got to spend it with you guys!
