I decided to do a blog so our friends and family can see what we're up to in Grenada. I don't have the hang of this yet, but I'll post as much as I can. We've been living in Grenada now for a month, and it sure has been an adventure. Living here has been a hard adjustment to make at times, but we're doing good and learning together as we go along.
I'll start at the beginning of arriving to Grenada and go from there. I hope you all enjoy!

It sure was an experience getting to Grenada, it seemed like everything went wrong every step of the way; from not letting us take all our bags on the plane, not filling out the right paperwork, standing in the wrong very long line to get to the front and find out we have to go to the end of an even longer line, and losing one of our bags. Because of the road blocks at the Grenada airport we walked out of the airport three hours later than we should have, making us literally the last ones from our flight leaving the airport. I only knew her through e-mail at the time, thanks to my friend Ashley who got us in touch with each other, but our now friends Michelle and Stefani planned to pick us up from the airport, but we were so worried that they weren't going to be there when we walked out because we were so late, but luckily we walked out and there they were! They had big smiles on their faces, and it was immediate relief and the best sight to see.
I really don't know what we would have done without Michelle and Stefani, they were so nice and did things like drive us to the grocery store, took us to look at places to live, Skyped my dad late the first night to let him know we got there a little frazzled but fine, let us use their internet, and were there to help us with anything and everything. And thanks to some other awesome friends who didn't know us at the time, Lyndzee and Dustin, we had a place to stay for the first few days until we found our own place.
We've made a lot of new friends here and we're so lucky to have them, they have all made it so much easier on both of us, and are so much fun!
Here are a couple pictures from our first couple days here:
