What was supposed to be a pool party for my friend Laura's birthday turned into a 'no one wanted to get into the pool because it looked so nasty' party. I have no idea what's wrong with the pool at our place, but they for sure haven't learned how to do it right.
We still had fun despite the nasty pool for Laura's birthday. Laura and her husband are in the same term as Peter, so it's nice to have friends that are going through the same things at the same time we are. On Laura's actual birthday we had plans to go to the beach, but we got rained out, so me, Emily, and Taylor brought cupcakes to her house and hung out and watched a chick flick. Then that Saturday we invited everyone over to our place.
