Update

I have been terrible with posting lately, and it's because we've been really busy.  I had good intentions of taking pictures of our new apartment and getting those posted, but I haven't taken pictures yet, so hopefully those will be coming soon.

Peter finished his short six week term 3, and did great.  He has now started the dreaded term 4.  When I say dreaded, that's an understatement.  A lot of people don't pass term 4 because it's such a hard demanding term.  He's taking Pathology, which is a 13 credit class, Microbiology, which is a 5 credit class, and CPD (Communication and Physical Diagnosis), which is a 3 credit class.  Along with those classes he has 11 extra hours a week outside of class for lab or group.  He'll be learning a lot this term, and we know that he's pretty much not going to be around much this term.  I know that he'll do fine, but let's just hope that we're both still sane at the end of this term.

I have some news of my own, I got a job.  So not as many more adventures around the island for me, which is sad.  Normally you can't work in Grenada, and I had accepted that as my fate, but a job opened up at the school and I applied and got it.  I make less than half of what I would in the states, and I work part time, but I am more than grateful to have a job and to be able to have a little bit of an income.  These past few weeks have been orientation and the start of terms, so we've been really busy at work, and I've been able to put in a ton of extra hours.

I have been terrible at taking pictures lately, I just keep forgetting my camera.  For the weekend after his finals for third term and before the start of fourth term we had a fun weekend.  Since I'm now considered faculty at SGU, we were able to go eat at a restaurant called University Club.  We went for breakfast, and it was so good.  Then we ended up walking all around the area where we live, and ended up at one of the points of the island.  It was so cool!  It's has black rock with green vines growing all over it.  It has had tide pools, and a huge steep cliff at the end.  I was so mad I forgot my camera, because it was seriously so pretty.

I have no pictures to post for now, so here is a picture I just took of Peter studying.  This is his little corner of our apartment where he studies while he's home.
