Term 2 Break

The format for term 2 is that Peter started out having two classes, CPM (community and preventative medicine) and Parasitology for the first two weeks of the term.  He then started in on the harder classes that will last for the rest of the term: Immunology, Genetics, Neuroscience, and Physiology.

What was kind of nice about this is he had finals for those first two classes after two weeks of class on a Monday and Tuesday, and you know what a final means, he gets a day off!  So on that Tuesday we were able to have some fun before his new classes started on Wednesday.

We took advantage of that time and went with some other term 2 friends to a beach called La Sagesse.  This is probably my favorite beach so far, it's really pretty and the sand is super soft.

After playing around for awhile on the beach we decided to rent a kayak. 

I sometimes forget how lucky we are to live here, and having days like this is what helps remind me.  I've been to this beach before and I've always like it and had fun, but there's nothing like going there with my husband, I remember how lucky we are to be here together.  I sure do love it when he gets a day off!!
